5 EASY STEPS TO RENT A SUIT
As you gear up to the biggest event in your calendar, make your suit one less thing to think about on your to-do list. You don’t need a personal assistant to rent a suit – it’s easy to sort out in just five steps, broken down here by our CandidKnots style expert. Let us shrink that list now!
STEP 1: SELECT & STYLE
“As soon as you’ve set a date or received an invitation to a big bash event, you can book it online or try on a few suits and decide what works for you. Most customers at CandidKnots choose their Suits, Blazers & Tuxedos about 1-4 weeks in advance. “If you’re keen for something quite on-trend, just ask us about the new styles that are coming in. We will help you try on similar suits that are already in stock, so you can see what might work for you. The fewer people there are with you, the easier it is to make a decision, so try to just bring along one other person, like your best mate, the bride or your dad. It is much easier to get everything organised if we have a vague idea of body sizes and proportions.
STEP 2: GET THE RIGHT FIT
When you are in doubt and If you cannot make it to the store, we will need your height, the largest width of the chest (that’s under the arms); waist Size. “Because they’re hired, not made to order, it’s about getting the best fit possible, which is usually very close. You will either try on the suit you are booking or one very similar. It’s a pretty fun part of the process really – it really gets everyone excited for the big day.”
STEP 3: COLLECT YOUR SUIT
We deliver products both ways free of cost with in 15kms radius of our warehouse. Locations, which are outside our delivery limits, is chargeable both ways. In case you want to pick it up personally, you can collect your Suits, Blazers & Tuxedos from us one day before you are going to wear it, then drop it off after the day of event. That is three days that you have the product with you in total. If you need to pick it up earlier, you can pay a bit more to have it extra number of days.
STEP 4: RETURN WITH EASE
“The question every man asks is “do I need to get it dry-cleaned before I can return it?”. The answer? No, you don’t – we will take care of that. “You just need to bring everything back within one day after your event/ function date. Either you can opt free pick up or you can drop it by yourself at our operations office at Kormangala, Bengaluru.
STEP 5: PAYMENT
We charge 10% price of the MRP as the rent and another 10% price on MRP is taken as security deposit during your purchase, and we refund the security deposit once the products are received. • If you pay by cash, cash is given back instantly • If you pay online via Net Banking, debit/ Credit card payment, then the money is transferred to respective accounts with in 3 to 10 bank working days.
